Kathryn Schroeder

Kathryn is interested in how material culture reflects societal values, having grown up with a deep appreciation for Craftsmanship. She is interested in our human relationship with nature and wilderness as it reflects in artistic processes and aesthetics. Kathryn is the recent recipient of an Amplified Arts micro-grant. She has recently exhibited with Northern Clay Center in MN, the American Craft Council, Carbondale Clay Center in CO, The International Dinnerware Design Museum in MI, Haystack Mountain School of Craft in MA, and has presented and exhibited with The National Council for the Education of Ceramic Arts. Her work has also been published in American Craft magazine and featured in Studio Potter magazine. Kathryn is currently a special student at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She earned a BFA from Alfred-New York State College of Ceramics.
