During the COVID lockdowns and restrictions of 2020, I invested in myself by taking online courses, experimenting with new art techniques, taking thousands of photographs, and rejuvenating my creativity. My latest artistic endeavor is creating— drawing and then painting with a wide variety of mixed media—large stylized portraits on canvas.

On my first visit to Mexico I attended a traditional dinner including mariachis, dancers and home cooked food. At the venue this building sat empty. I found it very interesting.
