My name is Samuel Lemuel McGee and I am an artist from Omaha, Nebraska. I mostly work in painting, both physically and digitally. I enjoy drawing the most as that is how I started but I feel I can be more expressive with painting. This is one reason I enjoy digital painting because I get the feel of drawing while also having a splash of color and texture like a painting. I mostly paint physically during the school year and digitally in my free time. My last few paintings were made in 2019, it was a small series that started off as one planned painting being a tribute to my late grandmother while others were made unplanned and based off my artistic instinct. By the time I finished the last painting I realized they represented my inner feelings and mindset during that period. I hope to continue to grow as an artist finding new inspiration and ideas to execute.
